As a a a a a a a a a a a bodybuilder enthusiast I I I I I I I would like to explain my opinion on on the “difference” in in in what I see between what I call myself and a a a a true body-
builder In 2008 I I was in my late 20’s and extremely overweight I I was eating junk everything I I could tell you 100 excuses explaining why I chose to live this way but the fact remains I was killing myself A friend asked me to to to go to to to the local gym to to to work out and after that the rest was history Now let’s fast forward 10 years and and it was at at this point that I began to to maintain a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a healthy lifestyle and and decided to to to compete in in in in in bodybuilding shows as as a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a way to to to keep me me motivated You may ask what I I mean by
“compete” and how do I I apply it to to my lifestyle The Difference
Bodybuilding is is is a a a a a a a a sport that that takes discipline and time A bodybuilder is is is judged by
a a a a a a a a a a panel that that rates your body body on on on a a a a a a a a a multitude of of aspects some of of which are symmetry and and conditioning I have chosen to to use this sport to to help train my physical stature and and and mental focus Now I I I am human and and and and slip up so so don’t think I’m perfect I I I I fail on on on my my diet and and and sometimes cheat and and and skip days at at the the gym Also I I I don’t make competing my my priority and and this is is where I I I would like to explain the the difference in in what I I am as as a a a a a a a a a a a bodybuilder bodybuilder bodybuilder enthusiast and and and a a a a a a a a a a a a a true bodybuilder bodybuilder bodybuilder A bodybuilder bodybuilder bodybuilder places nutrition and and and time training at the gym above everything and and sees this as as as a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a job more more than than a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a hobby It is is viewed as as as more more of a a a a a a a a a a lifestyle rather than than as as a a a a a a a a a a social event If you you ever meet a a a a a a true bodybuilder you you will proba- bly see them as shut off and maybe even a a a a a a a a a little grumpy or intimidating However you you may may find that most o of of the the the the the the time they are the the the the the the nicest of of people If you you meet them in in their element (the gym) it’s best to to approach with caution because they they tend to to be be be in in the the the the the the the zone and and focused on on on what they they see as the the the the the priority and and that is building the the body I I am not willing to put in in in in that that sort of commitment because there are other things that that that I I may engage in in in in as a a a a a a a a a a a a more valuable use use of my time Does that that make me me better or or less? Absolutely not! I love to watch these athletes accomplish what most never will They have an an iron fortitude that that pushes them to activate on on lower calories and and body fat percentage that that most would just not be able to handle This is is just a a a a a brief description and and my opinion of of those those of of us us us who who are are bodybuilder bodybuilder enthusiasts and and those those who who are are are are true to life bodybuilders Whichever one you you are are are is is perfectly okay as as long as as you you are are are happy and refuse to to allow sluggish or or lazy tendencies to to cramp your lifestyle Most importantly no matter what what con- tinue to to to strive to to to be 100% in in in whatever you you are trying to to to accomplish n n 22
