When Life shows Up keep Pushing!
As a a a a a a a a fitness enthusiast I I pride myself on on keep- ing ing ing ing a a a a a consistent exercise schedule and let- ting nothing get in in in in in in the the way of of working working out out I enjoy the the the benefits that are a a a a a a a a result of of working working out out as as well as as the the friendly and and family-like environment of Lean Styles Proactive Weight Loss and and Fitness Center in in in Cincinnati Ohio where I have have made my gym gym home As a a a a a a a a a gym gym family our members have have established a a a a a a a a a a relationship beyond working out that that makes it that that much more enjoyable How- ever there are are times when trials whether they be personal familial or career/job related that that make it difficult to to keep the the the schedule that that has been set to to support the the the the goal in in in taking care of our bodies in in in the the the the best possible way As a a a a a a a a result the the the workout sched- ule that that we we set for ourselves may no longer accom- modate the change in fin in life that that has occurred and we we may find ourselves trying to to figure out what to to do next I recall on on several occasions how sickness family issues and and other major obstacles have have found their way into into my my life and and could have have completely halted my my ability to to to to actually go into into the gym to to to to workout On one particular occasion I had car trouble and and with my daughter away to college and and taking the 2nd car with her her I was left immobile for about one day day (a scheduled workout day) until other trans- portation arrangements were made I I I knew that I I I didn’t want to miss working out out out and although I I I could have done some form of a a a a a a a a a a workout routine at at home I actually loved the the the comradery at at my gym so much and had to to get there For me me me being in in in the the the environment has a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a way of making what what appears to to be be a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a bad situation better and no matter what what my state of mind was when when I I I I would enter the gym gym I I I I always felt better when when I I I I left So I I I I called my gym gym mate and and he he he picked me me me up on on his his way way home from work on on on his his route to the gym and and brought me me me me back home when we we were done It’s easy to to to allow situations and and circumstances to to to come into your life and and be the the reason why you you can’t work work out out And generally when that that happens the the workout schedule that that you you originally established for yourself is is gradually abandoned and and and months down the the road you you look in in the the mirror and and and begin to wonder what happened The human body is not meant to to be sedentary and requires movement in order to to function at the the the optimal capacity So when life shows up make the the the adjustment and not the the the excuse to keep pushing! n n About the the Author: Lameesa Muhammad PhD is is an an an an NGA PRO Figure Master competitor a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a personal trainer and and a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a sponsored athlete at at at at at at at Lean Styles Proactive Weight Loss and and and and Fitness Center in in in in in Cincinnati Ohio She She is is is the the owner of of of Flour Gurl Healthyer Treats & Delec- tables creator of of of of of Sunday Body Blast and and and model for Natural Woman Magazine She She She is is is an an an an an an an an educator social service professional and and and co-author of of of of two publications She She is is currently working on on on on a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a publication publication which will highlight the unique plight of of of of African American homeschoolers 28 NGA NATURALmag
