Isee it more more and more more every year! Too many top young professional athletes are getting injured So what is the reason? There are many rea- sons why these athletes are so so injury prone In my opinion and based on on on personal and professional experience within the the fitness industry the the num- ber one reason why this is is occurring is because many are participating in in sports at too young an age which will wear down the joints at a a a a more rapid rate At a a a a a a young age your joints are not fully developed and and and and putting a a a a a a a a a a a lot of stress and and and and wear and and and and tear on on the tendons and and and and ligaments is definitely not a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a good idea! Let’s take a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a look at at baseball baseball athletes By the the time a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a baseball baseball player makes the the Major League he he he has
already been in the sport for about about 15 years years and may typically only be be about about 21 years years of of age! This professional baseball athlete begins by playing t-ball to year round travel ball ball which puts a a a a a a a a a a a great amount of wear and tear on on developing joints joints The sport is not the the only thing wearing down the the the joints joints as weight training is also added to the the the mix I I have been appalled at at what I I witnessed in in in in in videos of of the the training regiments for young professional baseball players Most of of my shock has
come from the the SO-CALLED “Strength and Condi- tioning Coaches” who really do do not know the the the the damage they are doing to to to these athletes by requiring them to to to perform to to to be what looks like out of control ballistic movements with their weight weight training Since there is is is only one way way to lift weights correctly this being slow and controlled any other way way would be be be incorrect! There is more damage being done to the the the joints then good for the the the muscles with this type of strength conditioning Once trainers started mixing agility movements movements with power movements movements is when 12 NGA NATURALmag
