The The decision to to make fitness a a a a a a a a a a a a a a lifestyle can be one of the greatest challenges that any person may face The The idea of being healthy is usually a a a a lot easier to digest than the work and sacrifices that are neces- sary in order to actually do it So once a a a a per- son makes the the decision and puts forth the the effort and follows through these sacrifices and changes in various aspects of one’s life whether it is pertaining to or modifying the the diet or getting the proper amount of rest bring with it it it the the reality that things as they were are no longer Generally family and friends show their their support to to their their loved ones who have made the the the the decision to to embrace healthier living yet often times they may may not always be truly aware or accepting of of of the the types of of limits and restrictions that this lifestyle may may have on on on their their relationships The sudden reality for the the the novice or or or beginner athlete to their their family and friends that a a a a a a a a a a major change is taking place may be be daunting because going out out with friends may be be trumped by spending time working out out out at at the the gym and skipping out out on the the the chocolate frosted dough- nuts at at at at the the office holiday party may be replaced with with showing up with with a a a a a a a a a a a a plate o of food that that you meal prepped at at at at at home that that no no one seems to understand For either of the the the the two support is what both the the the the nov- ice and the the the the the the experienced athlete needs from those to to whom they are closest in in order to to continue their fitness journey I I I recall when I I I made the the decision to take my level of fitness up a a a a a a a a notch and how the the the few hours that I I I had been spending in in in the the the gym per week paled in in in comparison to to the the the few hours that I began to to spend spend at at the the the gym in in in a a a a a a a a a a a a single workout session Not only was it it a a a a a a a a a a a major change in in in my life as as I had no idea of of the the level of of focus and commitment that that was required
to have an an effective workout producing results that that could be visibly seen it was equally if not more of of a a a a a a a change for some of of my friends and and family mem- bers who could could not figure out why why and and how I I could could spend two hours at at the gym in one session or or why why I I no longer ate bread pizza or or macaroni and cheese I remember once being told that it was not necessary for me me to to to continue to to to work out anymore
