up At 12 years old old my my mother had abandoned my my older brother and and and I I I I I I started to smoke weed drink alcohol and and and abuse pills I I I I couldn’t physically escape my reality so I I found a a a a a a a a a a a a a a way to to do it it mentally and and and emotionally Due to to my drug and and and alcohol abuse consequences came quickly and and and they were severe My life deteriorated fast! Charges came much time was was wasted behind bars and and and relation- ships were destroyed I have been three years clean and and sober sober Physical fitness has always played a a a a a a a a a a a a a role role in my life life That role role became a a a a a a a a a a a a a lot larger when I I got got sober sober I I got got into bodybuilding and and the lifestyle that that goes with with that that coupled with with AA and and having God in in in in in in my life life has helped
me me to become a a a a a a a a a a a a a better man every single day I I love love being being involved in in in in in this organization and and I I I love love being being an an an an an all-natural bodybuilder I I have shown my mental emotional and and and spiritual fortitude through getting clean and and this this gives me me the chance to to to show my physical dedication to to to this this life too George William Grimes: I I was born in in in April 1987 in in in Bal- timore Maryland I I I I became a a a a a a a a a a a a a heroin heroin addict addict at the age of 16 [I was] not only addicted to heroin heroin but any drug drug I I I could get my my hands on on on on My drug drug addiction cost me me $500-$1000
a a a a a a a a a day Most of of this money came from from my my mother and and and the the rest from from robbing and and stealing living a a a a a a a a a a a life of of crime Every day was a a a a a a a a a a struggle looking for for ways to to get high to to avoid being sick This continued for for 8
years living living in in in in in in and and out of rehabs rehabs and and and even living living on on the streets homeless In
